May is ALS Awareness Month, and you can make a difference.
Throughout the month, we’ll highlight important facts about ALS, recent scientific breakthroughs, and key public policy initiatives. We’ll also shine a light on the invaluable care service programs provided by ALS United Mid-Atlantic and the meaningful impact they have on patients and families across our region.
Each year, ALS United Mid-Atlantic serves more than 1,200 people living with ALS throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. Your stories inspire and drive our work every single day, and we’re honored to share them throughout ALS Awareness Month.
Your commitment to raising awareness and support is essential. Together, we provide help and hope to the ALS community. Thank you for being a vital part of this mission, let’s unite to end ALS.

Participate in ALS Advocacy
Sharing your personal connection to ALS, whether in person, by phone, email, or letter, helps educate and motivate elected officials to take action.
ALS Advocates play a critical role in shaping laws and policies that impact individuals and families affected by ALS. Legislators need to hear directly from you about the importance of funding research, expanding care, and improving quality of life.
