Celebrating Alisa Brownlee’s 30 Years with ALS United Mid-Atlantic
At ALS United Mid-Atlantic, we are thrilled to honor a remarkable milestone. Alisa Brownlee, ATP, CLIPP, CAPS, WPS, has dedicated 30 incredible years to supporting people living with ALS and their families.
Her passion, expertise, and compassionate approach have touched countless lives, and we couldn’t be prouder to celebrate her journey. Over the course of her career, Alisa has supported thousands of people living with ALS and their families, helping them navigate complex challenges with deep expertise, genuine compassion, and a steadfast commitment to their care and well-being.
United to End ALS: The 2026 Scranton ALS United Walk
The Scranton ALS United Walk will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at PNC Field in Moosic, PA. This special event brings together families, friends, caregivers, and neighbors to support people living with ALS and honor loved ones affected by this disease. Every year, hundreds of people gather to share hope, encouragement, and a sense of community.
ALS Giving Circles Launch Soon; Be Part of the Impact
In honor of ALS Awareness Month in May, ALS United Mid-Atlantic is excited to bring Giving Circles to communities across our region! By joining a Giving Circle with a $1,000 annual donation (spread out monthly, quarterly, or as a one-time gift), you’ll help pool resources that directly support local care services and important community initiatives.

Tickets are on sale now for the annual Help & Hope Symposium, where top ALS clinicians and researchers deliver powerful, inspiring presentations you won’t want to miss. Discover essential information to support people living with ALS, explore innovative technologies from local vendors, and experience the optimism fueled by breakthrough insights from leading ALS researchers.

ALS United Walk
Saturday, April 18, May 2, and June 6
Join us this spring as we celebrate ALS United Walks in Scranton (April 18), Seaside (May 2), and Hershey (June 6). The ALS United Walk is a time for our community to come together to show that no one faces ALS alone. There is no registration fee, but participants are encouraged to fundraise throughout the year.

8th Annual Dan Diaz Biotech Breakfast Club ALS Fundraiser

In honor of Lou Gehrig Day, join the Philadelphia Phillies to celebrate ALS Awareness Night presented by Asplundh at Citizens Bank Park when the Phillies host the San Diego Padres. Purchase your ticket using the link below and a $6 per ticket Group Fundraiser Rebate fee will be applied to your order. Proceeds from the rebate will benefit ALS United Mid-Atlantic.

Jersey Shore ALS United Ride
Saturday, June 13 | 7 AM
ALS United Mid-Atlantic is returning to Morey’s Piers in Wildwood, NJ! Riders can choose 25 KM, 50 KM, or 100 KM routes with a $75 registration fee and a $250 fundraising commitment, or our family-friendly 6-mile ride for $75 with no fundraising requirement. Riders with ALS and virtual participants can register for free.
