Funding in Pennsylvania

Huge News for ALS Funding in Pennsylvania

After months of negotiations, the Pennsylvania state budget has been passed and signed into law by Governor Josh Shapiro. The 2025-26 budget continues funding for ALS care services and, for the first time ever, allocates $5 million for neurodegenerative disease research. This historic milestone was made possible because of your advocacy. At our Annual Celebration, State Representatives Bryan Cutler and Kyle Mullins announced this funding and thanked advocates for sharing their stories to make a real impact.

Giving Tuesday

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Giving Tuesday 2025 was a great success! Your donations make a big difference in the lives of people living with ALS and their families. ALS United Mid-Atlantic meets each person living with ALS where they are and is with them throughout their journey. The services we provide such as grants for in-home care, van rides, equipment loans, and the one-on-one support of social workers would not be possible without your generosity. You bring hope to the ALS community. Thank you!
