The Marjorie Shimer Durable Medical Equipment Loan Program

Recognizing 25 Years of Serving People with ALS

The Marjorie Shimer Durable Medical Equipment Program is marking its 25th year of serving the ALS community!

To mark this occasion, the Shimer Family, John and Loretta Russo, and the ALS United Mid-Atlantic Development Committee have come together to match donations up to $25,000!

The Marjorie Shimer Durable Medical Equipment Program provides critical pieces of equipment that enable people living with ALS to live comfortably at home, explore their greater communities, and live their lives.

This program is an invaluable resource to patients and caregivers, enabling them to maintain some of their independence while living safely in their own home.

When you donate now, your gift will be DOUBLED!

Over the past 25 years, the Marjorie Shimer Durable Medical Equipment Program has provided literally millions of dollars worth of equipment for people with ALS. Equipment such as power wheelchairs, Hoyer lifts, and transfer boards enable safe care at home.

Thank you for 25 years of support!
