ALS Clinics and Centers in the Mid-Atlantic

Our care team works closely with experienced ALS specialized clinics across Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware, to support coordinated, high-quality care. These clinics provide multidisciplinary treatment in a single visit whenever possible, bringing together neurologists, therapists, and other specialists to address the complex needs of ALS.

A social worker is also part of the care team at each clinic to help connect patients and families with home-based services, community resources, and ongoing support throughout the course of care.

Finding the right ALS clinic after diagnosis is an important step in accessing coordinated, specialized care. In the Mid-Atlantic region, patients have access to multiple multidisciplinary ALS clinics that provide neurological, respiratory, rehabilitation, nutritional, and psychosocial support in a single coordinated setting.

ALS United Mid-Atlantic helps individuals and families understand their care options and connect with trusted ALS clinics across Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware. Our goal is to support informed decision-making and reduce barriers to timely, high-quality care.

All clinic information on this page is reviewed in collaboration with regional care partners and updated regularly to reflect current referral pathways and service availability.

How ALS Clinics Work

ALS clinics bring together a team of specialists to provide coordinated care in one place. Rather than managing multiple appointments across different providers, people living with ALS can often see their full care team in a single visit.

A typical clinic team may include:

  • Neurologists with expertise in ALS
  • Physical and occupational therapists
  • Respiratory specialists
  • Speech-language pathologists
  • Dietitians and social workers

This team-based approach helps ensure that care is coordinated, consistent, and responsive to changing needs.
