ALS United Mid-Atlantic Leadership Update
Jeff Cline, ALS United Mid-Atlantic’s Executive Director, will retire this December for more golf and time with grandkids. For twenty years, Jeff has been an integral part of our organization. Through his leadership, our organization navigated the COVID-19 pandemic and significant organizational changes.
Next year, Tony Heyl will become ALS United Mid-Atlantic’s new Executive Director. Tony has been with us since 2011, leading our state and federal advocacy initiatives and increasing awareness of ALS in our communities.

Investing in research means investing in future successful treatments for all forms of ALS. Your donations and advocacy make it possible for ALS United Mid-Atlantic to support vital research programs that are making progress towards understanding ALS while empowering those living with ALS to be part of important trials and studies.

September ALS United Walks
Join us this autumn as we celebrate ALS United Walks in Wilmington (September 6), Ocean City (September 13), and Lehigh Valley (September 27). The ALS United Walk is a time for our community to come together to show that no one faces ALS alone. There is no registration fee, but participants are encouraged to fundraise throughout the year.

33rd Annual Billy Lake Memorial ALS Basketball Marathon

The 33rd Annual Billy Lake Memorial ALS Basketball Marathon will take place at Bonner-Prendergast High School Gym. Spectators are heartily welcomed. Donations are even more heartily welcomed! You can become a shirt sponsor or a team sponsor, or a donor by visiting the website linked below.
The Billy Lake ALS Basketball marathon has the distinction of being the longest-running family fundraiser for ALS in the United States.

25th Annual Scott A. Mackler Memorial 5K Run/Walk
